Apprenticeship Hub Ambassador Conference

The Hub ended June 2019 with a big “Thank You” to all our Apprentice Ambassadors who were invited along to the inaugural Apprenticeship Hub Ambassador Conference at Partnership for Learning in Speke Liverpool.

The Apprenticeship Hub Ambassador group is a network of 21 Liverpool City Region employers who have pledged voluntary support to the Hub for delivery of a range of activities with schools, residents (i.e. JCP) and attendance at skills shows. The Ambassadors also support other employers through a “knowledge exchange”; offering advice around the Apprenticeship Levy and Apprenticeships as a Talent Management tool.

Key note speakers included Dr Paul Redmond, a leading expert in generational theory and employability and Director of Student Experience and Enhancement at the University of Liverpool; and Zita Richardson from TMP who addressed members on “Presenting - The Power of Influence”.

The Ambassadors were then invited on a tour of Jaguar Land Rover Halewood Operations, which included observing their Manufacturing Processes, Robotics, Paint & Finish, Trim and Final and Quality sections of the plant.

Feedback from the Ambassador Conference included:

“Felt like we are part of something special”

 “Inspirational speakers”

“Thought it was a great event …thanks for investing in us as a group!”

If you are an employer of apprentices and would be interested in becoming part of our Ambassador Network, please contact the Hub for more information https://www.apprenticeshiphub.org.uk/contact-us/.
